A decade ago, American McGee's Alice was a landmark action adventure game released for the PC, drawing inspiration and following on from the Lewis Carroll books. Designer McGee's vision of Alice saw her locked in an insane asylum, with Wonderland becoming a metaphor for her mental breakdown seeing all the classic characters transformed into monstrous versions of themselves.

Set 10 years after the original, Alice Madness Returns sees Alice out of the madhouse, still suffering hallucinations. Together with her psychiatrist, she must save her sanity by discovering the true cause of her family's demise.

Designed in the same dark style of the original, but now featuring entirely new visuals, story and game design, Alice: Madness Returns is a fun and addictive action adventure set to release on PC and all the home consoles on June 16th.

To celebrate the games launch we've teamed up EA to offer our own Alice inspired cocktail.

A drink in two parts with Tweedle Rum being a monstrous blend of black sambuca and mount gay rum, set as a jelly to capture the dark gothic side to the game's wonderland.
